Tamil Nadu Open University

Tamil Nadu Open University offers B.A, B.Com, BSc and BB.A degree courses that can be done as correspondence course. Those who have passed plus two or failed plus two can pursue the course. One from the eleven subjects could be taken as a major for B.A where as Co-operation and Bank management are the core subjects for B.Com. Mathematics is the major for BSc.

B.A, B.Com, BB.A, BSc-Open Entrance Examination

 Those who have completed 18 years can attend the Degree entrance examination. Tamil Nadu Open University’s Open Scheme entrance examination could be attended by those who do not have the basic Plus Two qualification. Anyone can do B.A, B.Com, BB.A and BSc Degree in this university despite of their qualification.

The entrance examination will be conducted in an objective model. Those who wish to pursue B.A, B.Com, BB.A or BSc will have entrance examination on either two of the three subjects such as Social Science, Commerce and Mathematics.

B.A, B.Com –Direct

B.A, B.Com, BB.A, BSc Degree registration could be done directly by the students who have passed plus two. The course has to complete in three years.

Study Materials

The study materials for the entrance examination will be sent separately via post. Previous question papers will be available with it. After Degree registration of each year, study materials will be sent together or as two batches via post.

Fees Structure

An amount of Rs 3800/- has to be send along with the registration form for  B.A, B.Com, BB.A, BSc Degree open entrance registration .

The annual fees for B.A and B.Com is Rs.5800/-. An amount of Rs 3800 /- has to be send along with the first year registration form and the remaining Rs 2800/- has to be paid within two months after registration.

The annual course fees for BB.A and BSc will is Rs 6800/-. An amount of Rs 3800 /- has to be send along with the first year registration form and the remaining Rs 2800/- has to be paid within two months after registration. The University registration fees and Examination fees are to be paid separately as DD. The aforesaid course fees do not include The University registration fees and Examination fees.

Examination

The main examination will be conducted in January and June every year. Thiruvananthapuram and Malappuram are the two examination centers. The student can select his or her examination center. Any information regarding the examination is available with Global Academy.

SSLC Certificate (Attested 3 copies)         

Plus Two Certificate (Original)         

Transfer Certificate (TC) (Original)         

Passport Size photo- 5 No.

The above said documents along with the registration fee (DD) must be send as Registered post .
